Losing a nation

At this time, the Jews started a war because they were forbidden to mutilate their genitals.

It was a costly rebellion for the Romans. Three hard years fighting the latest claimant to the title “messiah”, the anointed one of the Jewish god. The emperor expelled the Jews from their holy city, Jerusalem, and rebuilt it as “Aelia Capitolina”, named for him and for Jupiter of Capitol hill. “Palestina”, after the ancient Philistines,¬†replaced “Judea” as the name of the troublesome province.

As the bible said, The Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.

But the true loss came later. Came in our century. The loss of their own stories, for the exclusive use of the Christians.
